This is a short film directed by Benoît Toulemonde that follows the musician Nils Frahm as he collects (and makes) sounds.

The film is highly aestheticised but at its heart is an opportunity to just watch someone do their work and practice. I like this simply because it offers insight not only into quite simple processes, but also the kinds of things that grab Frahm’s curiosity.
